Shazahn Padamsee
With a pair of wide eyes and a cheerful smile, Shazahn Padamsee is certainly a name that rings a million hearts. Born to renowned ad guru and theatre veteran Alyque Padamsee and noted pop star Sharon Prabhakar, this girl is blessed with best of both of their genes. A perfect blend of beauty and talent, the youngest of the Padamsee clan has impressed one and all with her modelling and acting skills. She made her first public performance in Unspoken Dialogues, a play written and directed by her father, in 2009. Shahzahn, also a writer by passion, contributed for the play with a monologue called Audition.
Shazahn now has her kitty full with theater performances, commercials and movies, living up to the names of both her creative powerhouse parents. Besides chalking out her career in films, she also helps them with their theater production works.
Coming to her commercial modelling career, Shazahn has a huge portfolio of brand endorsements, such as 7 UP, Clean & Clear, Nescafe Sunrise, McDonalds, Pond’s Dreamflower Talc, Classmate Pens, Colgate, Gitanjali Amore, Wild Water, Reebok and Madame. She has also been featured on the covers of leading magazines like Maxim, Femina, Wedding Affairs Asia and Stuff India.
From featuring in memorable ads like the trendy, curly hair girl in 7 UP to becoming the face of fashion doll franchise Monster High in India, Shazahn has come a long way. The success of her screen presence can be gaged by the fact that she was chosen by the film production giant Yash Raj Films for Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year, alongside Ranbir Kapoor. Following its release in 2009, the movie garnered lot of positive reviews and Shazahn did make her presence felt in her brief role.
The 25-year-old (DOB: 19 October 1987) Mumbaikar went on to broaden her horizon with movies like Orange (Telugu) and Kanimozhi (Tamil) in south. The stylish lass was showered with rave reviews for her performance in Orange opposite Megastar Chiranjeevi’s son Ram Charan Teja. Her later Hindi hit releases include Dil Toh Bachha Hai Ji (2011) and Housefull 2 (2012). Shazahn’s upcoming projects include a remake of superhit Bollywood film, Bol Bachchan’s Telugu remake Golmaal. She will don the role of Radhika Raghuvanshi played by Prachi Desai in the Hindi version. Shahzahn will be next seen playing her first solo female lead in Disco Valley (releasing this December).
