Samiksha Singh

Meet Samiksha Singh, the diva hailing from the Garden City of India, Chandigarh. Born on 8 October 1985, she’s affectionately called Samee!
Samiksha (or Sameeksha) has been adored in the South since the release of 143 – I Miss You, in 2004 (actually, a dud Tollyfilm :-/). She has entertained Telugu, Kannada, Tamil and Hindi speaking audience through her 15 regional celluloids, and amused the national spectators through handful of television soaps.

 
Samee (if I’m allowed to say!) has worked for branding of several products, and has appeared in nearly 10 TVCs and about 20 print ads. She can be now seen as the fresh face of Vicks VapoRub.

Some of the popular brands endorsed by her include Amway, American Express Card, Havell’s, Hyundai Santro Xing, Johnson’s Baby Powder, Kit-Kat, Metro Tyres, Monte Carlo, Mother Dairy, Sunsilk, Univercell, World Gold Council, Zatak Cool Talc, and so forth.

 
In my personal opinion our Ad Divas should stick to doing commercials, modeling, and TV soaps instead of playing some dumb, weightless role in a sure shot flop cinema. One can easily imagine whether or not these ‘low quality’ films can take on the box office! (No offence and we must appreciate the career progress.) Having said that, Samiksha has been recognized for best performances in her circa 10-year filmography.
