Tell us a little about yourself?
Born and brought up in Gujarat, Ahmedabad, I’m a commerce graduate and now studying textile design at National Institute of Fashion Technology – Hyderabad. My father is a Chartered Accountant and my mother is a Beautician. I have a younger brother. My hobbies are sketching and dancing.
Prachi in real life as against a confident ramp model?
Well, in real I’m still that ordinary college girl who lives life to the fullest; I save my attitude for ramp/ photo shoots. 😉

What pushed you to take up modelling/acting as a career? I see you have worked as a RJ as well? What and who inspires you?
I was not very keen on getting into modelling. Posing in front of the camera was my favourite passtime, but then it became my alter career. 🙂 Talking about RJing, well, I’m a kind of a gurl who keeps on engaging myself in different activities which involve self-development.
What was your first ramp walk experience like?
Hahaha! It was fun, but I was very nervous. Frankly speaking, I have done couple of shows for my college back in Ahmedabad but still every time it feels like a new start.
Brands you have modelled for – social media campaigns, print ads, brand endorsements, cover page photo shoots, etc.?
I have done catalogue shoots for www.myne.in, a Chikankari saree brand, then you can find me in www.64fashions.com in designs by Divya’s. I have also done cover page shoots for photography banner Madhu VFX.

My attitude is reserved to photo shoots and ramp walks!

How did you get to do A Silent Melody? How do you feel about the immense recognition and fan following you got with the short film?
A Silent Melody is the best thing happened to me till now, and how I got the role is a long story… A director recommended me to Prasanth Verma (director of the film) after he saw my acting in another upcoming feature movie Maine Pyar Kiya. I have a small guest role in it.
And about the fan following and recognition, well, I was surprised as I got a huge positive response for my first project. I’m so happy that people liked my work. This has motivated me to keep doing better and better.
We know that Sundeep Kishan is a cool and wonderful actor. How is he as a producer? Tell us about the director?
Sundeep Kishan is a nice guy. He helped me a lot in making this movie. It is because of him that A Silent Melody is such huge success. Prasanth Verma is a very talented director. It was fun working with him.
Any memorable experience on the sets?
During the film shooting I was supposed to play with the dog named “Snoopy Reddy”. The dog was so adorable and so naughty that he was just running here and there, but finally agreed to get pampered by me! 🙂

What do you think is more satisfying: fashion modelling or acting?
If you ask me what is more challenging – modelling or acting, I would say it is acting. Acting demands 100% dedication.
How do you like Hyderabad?
Hyderabad is a very nice place. I have fallen in love with the city lately. I am yet to explore many beautiful places here.

Your fashion statement and tips?
Being a fashion student, my top priority is to wear what I feel comfortable, and in which I feel sexy! Fashion tip? All I can say is always carry yourself as if you’re a princess. 🙂
Favourite food – I am a big foodie. I can’t resist when I see continental dishes on the menus. I also love North Indian dishes.
Favorite actors – ummm, I’m a fan of Mahesh Babu and Ranveer Singh. I admire Aishwarya Rai Bachchan a lot.
