Do you remember the women’s day special advert of Tata Tea’s famous ‘Jaago re’ ad campaign, in which a female interviewer questions Shah Rukh Khan about the gender equality? In the commercial SRK made a commitment of rolling female actors’ names before his own in all of his movies, henceforth. (And yes, he did stand on his word in his latest movie, Chennai Express – but that’s completely another thing altogether)

Although featuring alongside one of the biggest stars in the country, Ashna Zaveri more than managed to grab eyeballs, so much so that the commercial is known equally for her as it is for the star.

Her warm smile and expressive eyes perfectly complement the confidence of the young model. Ashna’s varied roles and diverse fashion and commercial portfolio validate her credibility as a versatile artist.

Making a strong start with Airtel’s famed ‘Jo mera hai wo tera hai‘ television campaign, the Mumbaikar did not shy away from spreading her wings wide open. A girl-next-door in Indulekha Care Shampoo, a sexy and stylish chick in Dazzler, a young chirpy teenager in Hero Pleasure and a perfect Indian bride in Prince Jewellery commercial – this lady has made sure she is everywhere, touching hearts of all age groups! 🙂

Some of her other television campaigns include modelling for brands like Canon PowerShot with Anushka Sharma, Shaadi.com, Adiction Deo, Indulekha Care, Hike Messenger, among others.

Alongside featuring in print adverts – like Airtel Money, Vaseline, and Talwalkars Hi-Fi Fitness – Ashna has also had few modelling assignments for Femina India’s cocktail makeup piece. She has also graced the cover of the women’s magazine in July 2011.
