Tanya Vakil

The youngest and the most attractive Santoor mommy (girl) so far has been Tanya Vakil Fernandez.
Tanya was the Miss India – Asia Pacific in the Pond’s Femina Miss India 2006. She won the titles Miss Catwalk and Miss Iron Maiden.
 

 
In the same year, the Mumbai beauty also fulfilled her dream of representing India on a global level by participating in the Miss Tourism International Pageant held in China. She stood out as the first runner up here.
The Indian Diva also managed to win everybody’s hearts during the competition with her cheerful face, sense of humour and honest nature.

 
Tanya’s Profession:
Tanya is an interior designer by profession with utmost passion for the . The BA Economics graduate studied interior designing at Raheja School of Architecture. She then went on to Parsons School of Design, New York to gain further expertise.
 

 
Tanya Fernandez participated in the Miss India pageant competition only after completing her education.
 

 
Filmography:
Tanya Ferandez was to debut in a south Indian film called Thiruvannamalai (Tamil – known as Sania Vakil here!). She however opted out of the film to concentrate on her booming modelling offers. Miss Vakil made her filmy debut in Dongala Bandi, a Telugu comedy flick.
Tanya also appeared in the TV show on Times Now with Neeta Lulla & Ritu Kumar. She hosted the ‘Love Bites’ on Zoom (isko dekho!) and participated in several fashion shows.
 

 
Modelling / Advertising:
The vibrant model has walked on the ramp with famous designers like Manish Malhotra, Suneet Verma, Anita Dongre, Vikram Phadnis, Satya Paul, Deepika Gehani, Ritu Kumar, Maheka Mirpuri, Marc Robinson in Samsung Hyderabad and Mumbai City tour fashion shows, Dubai Fashion Fiesta, Levi’s, Aura Jewellery Show, Fashion Show at the CMAI Apex Awards’ 06, Rocky.S, L’Oreal.
She was on the cover page popular of magazines of Bombay Times, Femina Interiors, International Beauty Book, FeminaGirl, Rouge, Over Drive and New Woman.
 

 
The divinely beautiful lady has been the face of many products: Santoor Soap, Ayur Herbals, Garnier Colour Naturals and Incredible !ndia.
