Mahima was born and brought up in the Heart of India, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh (Hindustan Ka Dil Dekho). She is a Bachelor of Commerce graduate from The Bhopal School of Social Sciences.
Mahima moved to Mumbai to pursue Diploma in Advertising and Marketing from Xaviers and a career in modeling/ acting. She loves traveling and is quite an adventurous person! She admires Shahrukh Khan and Kajol Devgn in Bollywood.

Mahima has also played female lead in Hindi films like Kuch Meeta Ho Jaye (2005); Dahek (2007); Mr. Black Mr. White (cameo, 2008); Punjabi film Hashar (2008); and 42 Kms (2011).
She has appeared in more than 200 television and print commercials! Her confident, endearing looks have favored both Indian and International brands.
