Kriti Kharbanda

If an alien asks me ‘what do women look like on the earth?’, I would introduce it to Kriti Kharbanda. Kriti is an acclaimed model and a favorite actress of many in the Telugu and Kannada film industries. Her cutely innocent, lovable, sweet face and captivating eyes, and her endearing smile can turn even the toughest of guys into artists, poets, and art directors!😉

Well, it’s just the overdose of Norepinephrine or Dopamine in my brain that is doing the talking. But, Kriti is one of the few celebrities who have their original, clear perspective on societal problems and a strong support for women’s rights.

Kriti Kharbanda Actress

Kriti Kharbanda is an acclaimed and versatile actress in Telugu and Kannada films

Coming from a middle class family, Kriti Kharbanda (also called Kruti) is of Punjabi decent. She was born in Delhi, on 29 October 1988 and grew up in Bangalore, Karnataka. Her father is a businessman and mother a housewife. She has two younger siblings – brother and sister.

Kriti did her schooling at Baldwin Girls High School. After completing her graduation in Commerce from Sri Bhagawan Mahaveer Jain College, Kriti’s filmography began with the Telugu film Boni (2009). The charismatic diva has made her mark in the industry playing very selective and versatile roles, be it a ditching girlfriend in Ala Modalaindi or the bewitching retro girl in Teen Maar (opposite Pawan Kalyan – exalting the role of Gissele in Love Aaj Kal)!

People rushed to theaters to be smitten by the beauty in Mr. Nookayya (2012). She then arrested the eye lids of Telugu audience with Ongole Gitta (2013)! She even played the female lead with a negative shade in Telugu’s first 3D action flick OM, (a surprising and challenging role she played so far) 2013.

Kriti has also flavored many films in Sandalwood, playing sweet as well as intriguing deglam characters. Some of the biggest Kannada hits of her include Chiru, Prem Adda, Galaate, and Googly. (We would have been denied a glimpse of the jewel had she chosen to go make a career with her Diploma in Jewellery Design!)
