Amyra Dastur

I’ve been a huge fan of Amy Dastur (introduced as Amyra Dastur through Issaq – 2013) since I first saw her in the Clean & Clear Facewash campaign, some 2 years ago. She plays the role of a close buddy to Pooja Salvi in the advert. In another Airtel Friends ad, a simple glimpse of Amyra in the song (girl self-posing for her phone camera) elevates the mood of the viewers! Also, who could forget the chirpy cheater in the Micromax Convertible X395 commercial?!

It was all Amy, and she deserves full marks for stealing the show with her cute face and even cuter smile the success of these unforgettable commercial campaigns.

On a serious personal note, Prateik Babber can’t be Emraan Hashmi. His Ekk Deewana Tha (with Amy Jackson) was a box office bomb! :-/ He still struggles to carry off the role of a lead protagonist in Issaq. Amyra, on the other hand, playing a Banarasi Belle is not only a delight to watch, but impresses every one with her innocent looks and matured acting skills, being a debutante!🙂
