Mahima Mehta

Who is the girl with Anjala Zaveri in reddish-purple top in Everest Masala ad? Who is the model in Labonito ad with R. Madhavan? Who is the mom in pink with a beautiful smile in Colgate Dental Cream commercial? What is the name of the beauty in blue dress in…. Imagine the kind of search engine keyword strings that Indian Ad Divas attracts! I understand how annoying it is not to know anything about an ad girl we admire the most. 😛 😉 So I tell you, she is none other than Mahima Mehta.

Unlike many celebs who gain little popularity through conventional or social media network, she remains quite anonymous! 😕 Mahima’s magical small screen presence in the commercial spots can bring the ‘bored teleserial viewers’ to life! Don’t believe me? Watch the diva in the much asked about Everest Masala ad video (Mahima in red Magenta; Anjala in White):

Mahima was born and brought up in the Heart of India, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh (Hindustan Ka Dil Dekho). She is a Bachelor of Commerce grad from The Bhopal School of Social Sciences. Ms Mehta moved to Mumbai to pursue Diploma in Advertising and Marketing from Xaviers and a career in modeling/ acting.  Snips: She loves traveling and is quite an adventurous person! She admires Shahrukh Khan and Kajol Devgn in Bollywood.

The graceful model, in her late twenties (/early thirties), has also played female lead in Hindi films like Kuch Meeta Ho Jaye (2005), which ironically starred another Google confused keyword heroine with same name, Mahima (Chaudhry); Dahek (2007); Mr. Black Mr. White (cameo, 2008); Punjabi film Hashar (2008); and 42 Kms (2011).

She has appeared in more than two hundred television and print commercials! Her confident, endearing and matured looks have favored both Indian and International brands. Some of the big brands Mahima has modelled for (both print and TV ads) include Aegon Religare, Allied Lifestyle, American Tourister, Avalon Aviation, Bharathi Cement, Bhima Jewellers, Bombay High Fashions, Butterfly Cookware, Canara Bank, Club Mahindra, Coir Board of India, Colgate, Coke, Dove, Everest Masala, Fa Deo, FirstCry, Francis Alukkas, Frankfinn Institute Of Air Hostess Training, Frooti, Godrej Interio, Heavenly Homes, Haywards 5000 Soda, IDBI Wealthsurance, Indus Ind Bank, Johnson & Johnson, Josco Jewellers, Kingfisher Force India Team, Labonito, Mushky Fashion, Olay, Orient PSPO, Oxemberg, Rajnigandha Flavoured Pan Masala, Royal Stag, Secret Garden Talc, Skoda India, Sony Pix, Spice Mobiles, Suzuki Slingshot, Travancore Builders, Vivel Soaps, and Wrigley’s Orbit Gum.
